A beautiful example of traditional Italian nautical craftsmanship.
Diano shipyard built this 24-meter yacht from its historical Genoa, Italy, premises in 1994.
Hardwood built on an individualized custom basis as in Diano’s tradition, epitome of Italian style, Diano 24S shows the usual sober, elegant, contemporary and straight lines that create a tension of slender surfaces with the wide, soft curves that give dynamism and a sense of continuity to this 1980 founded yacht builder.
Construction is hardwood, and mahogany marine plywood hull to superstructure. Interiors finished in cherry wood with leather feature details of a striking refinement showing Diano’s unique woodwork capability and tradition.
The layout offers a four staterooms lower deck, including two central full beam master suites, two guest staterooms. Total accommodation is for nine guest and three crew. Each room has private bathroom, with vanity tops in statuary marble.
Two crew quarters are located aft and have separate facilities. Deck heads finishes are precious fabrics and white lacquered woods. The opening aft hatch and accommodation ladder on the starboard side are also distinctive features.
Power for the Diano 24S is from twin MAN 1100HP, giving wide open throttle speeds of 25 knots. In excellent structural condition, with freshly rebuilt engines, ready to sail.
Visible in Monaco.
