A very very rare 4 seat MG midget J1 Tourer. This car is in delightful patinated condition, but has huge bills covering a rebuild of the engine & chassis components. The engine is still in the process of running in. It starts instantly, idles perfectly & pulls strongly.
The seats of the car are upholstered in green along with matching green carpets. Likewise the body is in two tone green with the paint having a very original & untouched look to it. Under the bonnet the car is tidy & as it should be. Used summers only by the current owner, the car is not currently fitted with a hood. The beauty of this car is the very original & untouched feel of it whilst having had all the mechanics attended to.
Cream knock off wire wheels are fitted to the four corners shod with good tyres. The windshield folds flat for authentic "bugs in the teeth" summer motoring. The car comes with a plethora of bills attesting to the works completed on it. What it really needs now is use!!!
The four seat configuration gives great versatility to those with small families etc.
The car is located neat Carmarthen in south Wales where it shares garage space with a Rolls Royce 20hp & a variety of veteran cars & cycles. It may be viewed there by prior appointment.
