Sunbeam 1899 - 1937: Sunbeam was a bicycle maker who started car production with the curious Sunbeam-Mabley and adapted Berliet models. During the 1910s and 1920s Sunbeam had some impressive successes in motor sport and record breaking. The company was eventually taken over by the Rootes Group. The make was revived as the Sunbeam-Talbot.
