A little bit of pre-quiz training... (Update: Graham, not Graham Paige)

Mystery taxiThis weekend we start the quiz year with a post-war walk over. Check here - but oh my - be carefull!  Now to get the rusty brains moving in the pre-war era, we present you this fien collection of three unidentified taxis, sent to us by Rain. To help a little bit, they were all spotted and shot in Tallinn, Estonia in 1937-38. As you can see the winter is making life of the car sleuth miserable as this first car is wearing a radiator wintercoat. Still the car has the word American written all over. Up to you to help Rain. Too easy? Go over to  the next taxi. And then to number three. Both posted under 'share photos' in the colum on your left. Enjoy weekend!

What you are looking at is a 1930 Graham, not a graham paige. You can tell by the small badge in the center of the headlight bar. The small brake drums tell me it is a standard six. The baby of the fleet that year.

According to the radiator-cap and the door-handles it seems to me that we have to do with a GRAHAMN-Paige 1930

It is a 1929 Graham-Paige - one of the medium size ones - possibly a 615 or a 621. It doesn't look big enough to be an 827.

That hood over the radiator doen't help, but I'm pretty sure this is a 1930 DeSoto Eight, Series CF. The two parallel bumber bars differentiate it from eal;ier and later models and the cowl lamps were mounted on the Wings/mudguards/fenders of the 6-cylinder cars.
