Previous FeaturesAnd now for something completely different ! ( 1910/11 Horch ?) Web-tv with old cars has proved to be something a bit way out for you guys. At least so far very few of you did grab the opportunity to post their old car home videos and other prewar video stock at PreWarCar.TV. So we decided to go one step back in film history. A hundred years back the quick presentation of two slightly different photos after another was a revolution already. We stumbled over this set sent to us by Bozi Mohacek of the svvs.org. The two photos of this family tourer mystery have caused a few headaches in the motoring detective circles of Surrey. Can you help? Click the photo to get an enlarged version of one of the two photos. The bevelled oval badge will draw your attention. Do the headlamps or the door handles add anything to your memory powers?

(Gif >!< animation by Alexander van den Hurk) Update by Vlad: "I am a great fan of August Horch. Unfortunately I have borrowed my "AutoUnion 100years Catalog", so I just try to identify the car by my memories. I think it may be a Horch or Audi car. I may go to the idea of a Horch, probably 1911-1912. I have found few photos in witch the hoods of the cars are the same and the radiator grills seems to similar with the photo. think it is a 1910-1911 Horch." Tuesday, 12 December 2006
