Blowing in the wind...

For sure this was not a bad hair day, but last Sunday's heavy crosswinds and irregular showers at discomforting temperatures at UK's Rockingham circuit made photographer's life a blast and kept most onlookers and the vintage part of the Racy Ladies community in their comfy homes. Not so for more modern track traffic ranging from C-type (PUR 120) to Porsche & Maranello stuff, Nippon tuned Caterhams and the sponsor's roaring Fast Food 'Going...Going...Gone!'. But then we met Suzy ! Golden narcis of the day with her long sleek Unicorn Special. The Aston Martin saloon radiator shell was made to fit a shortened AC chassis which in turn accomodates for a SS100 3,5 litre engine and several boxes of Riley and other parts that attracted no buyers some 20 years back. All this was bolted together extremely well we found out during two swift rounds . Thank you Suzy!
