Happy New Year To All !

We promised you that young kids and antique cars would be one of our major themes of the New Year. Well here you go! Model T world travellers Dirk and Trudy Regter covered the first leg from Amsterdam to Capetown. With a few small detours - 3000 miles - not caused by Trudy's brilliant map reading, they covered so far over 14000 miles (22.000 km). The last 1000 miles on borrowed(!) tires from a South African Model T fan. As you may know the charity of the tour is
SOS Children's Villages. More about that later in the year when Dirk & Trudy continue the tour through the Americas. This photo is made in the SOS Children's Village near Lusaka, Zambia. See that joy! And no matter if you live in Zambia or Canada, in Fidji or France, Alaska or Argentina. These joyfull faces you will get anywhere where you load a bunch of kids in the car. Believe us, this is the best way to preserve the hobby.

She now tells all her friends that she can drive, making many of their parents angry with me as their children now also want to drive their parents cars.
Our 6 year old also drove our 1912 T in the same lot. I did not take a video as I had to pay a little more attention.
The second video is both my kids this year enjoying the decent from Pikes Peak. ast forward to 2:10 for the part with my kids
