The Valentine’s Day Mystery (update: 1920 Packard Twin Six Roadster)
Of course there's no need to remind you that today is Valentine's day. Surely you have posted your cards in time, haven't you? So instead of a reminder we have a true Valentine's Day Mystery for you. No, it's not the girl as we already know who she is. Very appropriate for today her name is Grace Valentine! She was a stage actress who started her career in 1905 and also starred in a few movies. But what is
that enormous sports car she is driving? Or should we say, trying to drive, as little Grace Valentine doesn't look like she has the muscle power to turn that giant steering wheel.

Another circa 1920 shot of the Grace Valentine and that Packard Twin Six roadster.
She was born Grace Sharrenberger
February 14, 1884 in Springfield, Ohio, USA
As a young girl, her parents went to court to change their family name from Scharrenberger to Snow. Later, she chose the last name of Valentine, since she was born on this day
Starting in 1916, Grace was one of the players in a Vitagraph film serial called The Scarlet Runner, about young Christopher Race and his "super car," the Scarlet Runner. (The final installment of the 12 two-reel episodes was "The Car and the Girl.")
