Bugattis return from Californian holiday. (update: Museum AUTOVISION)

bugatti t57_sc_galibier_470
Our seriously well informed source spotted two Bugattis T57 in the Rotterdam harbours. We love these informal shots! We understand the two cars were among a small group of cars Peter Mullin acquired from the Schlumpf reserve collection and which remained in his californian museum under this exact title for a little bit less than three years. The black Galibier is a 1938 SC (compressor) and is 'on transit' to a the technical museum near the Hockenheim Ring. The magnolia white T57 Ventoux is a bit shy but is prepared for a Meet & Greet. When interested we will forward your details to the sender of the photos. No don't be afraid, no premium for your filthy rich editor!

The Black Bugatti is #57728 with engine #48C (Ex John Shakespeare collection). It's a Bugatti T57C, not an SC.

The white T57 Ventoux is #57540 with engine #383.

What a pity. I hoped Mullin would keep this part of the Schlumpf collection together and unrestored. Let's hope the people from the Sinsheim museum and the other future buyer have a feeling for originality and do not slaughter these wonderful cars by performing a 120% restoration.
