About Quiz # 301: Quiz becomes Mystery!

quiz_301_300The photo provided to us by Karl Ludvigden was described as a 1920 Violet. It should be one of the many cyclecar creations of Marcel Violet. Nobody came up with anything near to that. Only that we were advised by Michal Worthington Williams, Fons Alkemade and Fried stol that especially the radiator looked like Le Zèbre type B. So we are all - your editor included - back to square one. Is this indeed a brainchild of Marcel Violet, possibly based on Le Zèbre. Or when not, than what is it? A Le Zèbre racer made by whom? Giving especially attention to the lower middle and rear part of the car (click main photo) we can see a chain drive. Coming form a tranverse positioned one or two cylinder? Or still a small Le Zèbre engine. You are the experts. Help us out !  (photo courtesy Ludvigsen & Partners)
