About Quiz #167. : 1917 Apollo !
Willem Sas sent us this photo of one of his early restoration projects. He rescued the car from a scrapyard 35 years back. Part of the history of the car was a major rebuild in 1932..! The car was fifteen years old then. It is a 1917 car, Made in Germany. Only one competitor did the right guesswork based on our load of hints which leaded nowhere.... Applause for Marc Fellman !!! "A stab in the dark really. Is this a 8 h.p. (2,040cc) Apollo of the type designed by Karl Slevogt as early as 1912?
