We want to thank Roger Bowers who was kind enough to send all Indiana based car producers; you will find these listed alphabetically under 'Read More'. And yes the right name is among those, but his entree exceeded the 100 words limit impressively. That aside we had no less than four jury members who came up with the right name of the make, proving they deserve their title. An interesting remark came from Roger Fields claiming the grille should have been nickel(!). Then we had a very nice and accurate description by Mark Fellman, but we felt the razor sharp deduction by Stuart Penketh was the obvious winner. Hurrah to a new jury member! Here his answer:Brook Spacke, Duesenberg, H.C.S., Huffman, Kenworthy. LaFayette, Lorraine & Sheridan.
What it is not : Duesy, HCS, Huffman, (lasted too long)... Lorraine : (Radiator, phaeton coachwork different)... LaFayette : (4 & 6 Cylinders)... Brook-Spacke : (2 seat cyclecar)...
The only other information I can find, leads me to believe that the car is a 1921 Sheridan B-41 touring. "Congratulations Stuart ! Hope to see you all next year at # 171 !!!
