About Quiz # 171: fifteen country record !

Quiz # 171 had a record of competitors from no less than 15 different countries! US, UK, Ireland, Thailand, Denmark, Belgium, South-Africa, Australia, NZ, France, Italy, Germany, Luxemburg, Canada, Norway and Japan... The two sports cars, of undoubted British appearance did raise some eyebrows around the globe. We saw lots of mistakes. About any combination of makes like Alvis, Aston Martin, Singer, Triumph, Riley, HRG was mentioned, which - hélas - was all wrong. Then of course we had a number of people naming one car right, but not both. In the end we had a residu of 18 (!) people mentioning the right combination of ....MG and Frazer-Nash. Robert Seymour provided the December photo of his farmhouse in Connecticut, USA: "The black car in the foreground is 1933 MG L2. The blue car is a 1933 Frazer Nash TT replica."
As promised we have drawn five winners from the group of 18 correct competitors, being: Jim Tomczyk (UK), Bryn Rossiter (UK), Terkel Lund Ovesen (DK), Jean-Marie Gillen (Lux.) and Willem van de Veer (NL). They all get two free entry tickets for this weekend's Interclassics - Topmobiel. (next page you will find the names of all correct senders) All correct senders from which we did draw the five winners (with exception of the included jurymembers): Willem van der Veer (NL), Donald Begley (Eire), Gerard lansing (NL), Ruud de Pater (NL), 'GreShea'(US) , John Iacino (US), Stuart Penketh (Thailand), Terkel Lund Ovesen (DM), Nicolas van Frausum (B), Dick Trenk (US), Bryn Rossiter (UK), Jim Tomczyk (UK), Jan de Heer (NL), Bas de Voogd (NL), Jean Marie Gillen(L)
