About Quiz # 173: Mystery Spyker ! (UPDATE: Opel ????)

# 173 was a Quiz and a Mystery in one. Vincent van der Vinne is car historian and one of Hollands Spyker specialists. The old color photos were given to him by Jan Bruijn as we understand. According to Jan the engine was Opel but he is not completely sure after 25 years. Vincent van der Vinne presumes this possibly could be the missing link C3 Spyker (which officially never existed). Maybe this is a development on the Mathis Spyker which came to the market in 1921? Who can tell. Our highly esteemed competitors didn't bring much more unfortunately... Only jurymember Bart Oosterling remembered the car and then from the Spyker book of Vincent van der Vinne. However.... there was one competitor from Germany, who in fact was with the car! "This car is a Spyker year 1925-1929. I saw the car in the sixties at this winefarm (!). As I heard the car was sold to NL. I tried to find some fotos, but I coudn´t find, it is too long ago..." Dear Siegfried Otto Hepp, it may not be very much what you remembered, but obviously you are the winner of Quiz 173. Congratulations !
UPDATE by Wilfried Brunner (Switzerland): "This Car (Spyker?) was for sale in the first 80's. It was advertised in the "Motor-Klassik" (I'm pretty shure) as an "OPEL-SPORT". I remember because I was very young (just 18 years old) and was very interested on this Car." (anyone who can find back the advert?)
