About Quiz # 181: <br> 'Made in China' Studebaker Light Six.

Your editor played a terrible test with the honourable competitors of last week's quiz. You may remember that we presented a chinese workshop, the Shanghai Horse Bazaar & Motor Company, one month ago. We made a link there to a recent feature in Hemmings about the Chinese built 1924 Studebaker Light Six Coupe. See also WNDU News. We understand the car was recently added to the Studebaker Museum. So after that, we thought we rest our case for a little while and then check you memory... We think the fact that we said "It's not made in the US, but not in a small country either." did put off a lot of people thinking it maybe was a Studebaker. Jurymember Mark Dawber was the only one who came ver-ry ver-r-ry close claiming:"I would say this would be a Holden bodied Studebaker. Probably a c.1923 Light 6." Applause Mark! Many thanks to Hampton Wayt who sent us this great photo from the collection of Fred Sharf in Shanghai !
