About Quiz # 284: Framo LT300

framo-284-1We didn’t receive a lot of answers this time, but all except one were correct in identifying our quiz car as a German made Framo. The answers came from David Miller, Rex Wyeth, Heinz-Peter Spröde, Ivo Braecken and jury members Fried Stol, Paul Linster and Frans Vrijaldenhoven, the last one also sending us a picture of the attractive Framo Stomer coupé. Between the correct answers it was a close call between David and Rex. In the end we decided to award the PreWarCar T-shirt to Rex for his answer that was very compact, to the point and in exactly 99 words told us all we wanted to know! Congratulations Rex with your second win (see Read More for his answer). Our thanks go to Stuart Penketh, who spotted the Framo in the museum of Mr. Jesada Desh-sakul-rith (about 44km west of Bangkok) who over the years has collected an amazing assortment of bubble cars, rickshaws, scooters and mopeds and of course his eclectic collection of cars. He also has an impressive collection of children’s toy cars.
