What is it? # 122 (UPDATE: Dux)

Update: It's funny how these quizes always turn out to be more complex then we expect. Mile long lists of round radiator cars came in (does anyone have a cpoyrights free round radiator phote to do a decent follow up on the round issue?). Yet nobody mentioned the right Make of car to begin with. With one exception, Bart Oosterling , youngest jurymember of all (Bart do I remember right, is it 35? Thanks for letting me know Bart, it is only 32...) had the make right: "DUX" We hinted softly in that direction mentioning 'Leader' in our text, but of course we are not sure how your basic knowledge of Latin is... The year is possibly 1908. Rutger Booij found that the licence plate is from Leipzig 1909; which fits nicely. Anyway now is showing the same photo but not retouched and thus showing DUX. They were based in Leipzig just like the Napoleon 'Völkerschlacht'(genocide) memorial we showed you yesterday. We understand that Presto took over Dux in the mid twenties. No winners this time. Tomorrow a Walk-Over to let you enjoy the weekend without quiz worries.
(Postcard Collection Robert Rozeman) It is a lady driver trying to engage first(?) gear. Click the photo to zoom in on the painfull expression of her companion... and the round radiator! Furthermore, it is not a Spyker. It is not a Delaunay-Belleville. It is not a Wilkinson - De Cosmo. It came from yet another European country. Possibly the round radiator will bring you closer to the answer. Like Renault's 'camel snout' the circle shaped radiator was also 'en vogue' during a number of years. Apparently also this smaller make tried to get big in that way. They made cars from just before 1910 untill the middle twenties. Before WW I they were quite active in motorsports, but to say they were the Leader..., no. All we want to hear from you is the 1. Make 2. a guess for the right Year 3. a List of makes of car which had a round radiator. May the best man or woman win!
