What is it ? # 129 ( Update: Napier 40/50)

UPDATE: No winner(s) yet. Sorry for letting you wait so long, but we hoped to find proof for the year of this car. So far we have not. Within a week or so we will receive the chassis & engine nr. and take a decision then. It is a Royal Barnfind. The sender of this photo, Mr. W. writes: "It was supposedly built for the King of Siam, purchased by a Persian diplomat and is now looking for a sympathetic restorer." As you can see it is a top-notch British car ..., built for eternity in the first half of the twenties. But to park outside in the tropics a few decades has taken its toll. Can you name 1. The Make ? And 2. can you produce for the type and year? You are invited to check the front axle (click) and give a long look at the right side of the car, before you burry yourself in your library or send your mouse to Googleland. Enjoy weekend! And ah, to make our work a bit less cumbersome, we will ask the members of the Jury right away for their opinion. (photos Derek White) Rules:
