What is it? # 140 (Update; 1933 Salmson)

UPDATE: A most interesting and harmonious quiz: only French competitors! Not surprising as this was a very French car with a very French rally- history and drawn by a French artist: merci bien Jean Marie Guivarc'h !
So let's go to the results. All senders knew what they were talking about . So the last about the drivers was answered equally well answered by all competitors: Germaine Rouault and Julio Quinlin Also the car was easily recognised: Salmson . All competitors were right. Now with question 2 and 3 it became ugly..... ;-) An old problem came up. This Salmson is a late 1933 (model 1934)car. Not everybody was aware of this.
Second, this 1933 workscar participated in the Monte Carlo Rally. An easy slip is to say that it participated in the 1933 Monte Carlo. Wrong as the Monte Carlo is in January. So a "model 1934" 1933 car was competing in the 1934 Monte Carlo. Most competitors tripped over this year problem. Either by saying it was a 1934 car, or by saying it was the 1933 Monte Carlo.... Hélas, c'est la vie..!
However 2 men didn't step into this trap. Jurymember Dominique Barbault and earlier winner Bruno Estibals. Congratulations Bruno! Hope to see you all tomorrow.
