What is it? # 159

It's a Ford. A snapshot from the family album of the editor's brother in law. The photo is dated 1 July 1939. Mr. Anton Pos is in the driver's seat at the top of the Gotthard Pass (2108 m with 46 hairpins...) in Switzerland, not too far from the Italian border. The car was bought new in Holland and did not stay long in the family, as it was seized during wartime and maybe was enjoyed by a German lieutenant. So far the history. Now this will be a slightly different quiz, as we do not know the right answer ourselves! We just want you to give us the right details (all you know about when, what, where & whatever is relevant) of this car within 100 words. Only the best answer will get the Roadmap-PreWarCar gillet.... Rules:

1. send your answer (100 words max.) BEFORE Monday, July 4, 2005

2. PLEASE mention in the subject line of your e-mail: # 159

3. include, for in case you win: your shirt SIZE, being S,M, XL and the ADDRESS where we should send the shirt

4. unless otherwise stated there is ONE winner

5. please mention if you were an earlier winner (1,2 or J)

6. THREE time winners automatically become Jury member, but of course there is no obligation in any way
