What is it ? # 26 (UPDATE: NO WINNER !)

UPDATE: That was a cheap weekend for PreWarCar. Nobody guessed the 1938 Lancia Aprilia from one of the world's greatest coachbuilders Zagato. See the wonderful 80 years Zagato gallery (www.negri.it).
EARLIER TEXT: Not the most obvious car, but that's what we like, or don't we? Anyway it's not an obscure and long forgotten make. And the coachwork is not done by a Tibetan monk either. In fact two grand names are attached to this car. We are very curious from which part of the world the good answers will come in. Please send your educated guess to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Also add # 26 in the subject line. And do this all before 23.59 hrs. (New York time), Sunday 18 August. Have a great weekend! (photo courtesy Negri Foundation).
