What is it ? # 49 (UPDATE: a Volvo! )

UPDATE: two possibilities: 1. 95 % of you was out for the weekend. 2. You just didn't know. But when I had given you the name of the photographer Lars-'"oran Lindgren of the overloaded gallery Brass Cars in Sweden guessing probably would have been a lot easier. Anyway, Dutch car photo analysing expert and author Eduard Hattuma didn't need it and was perfect on track with Volvo and very near with 1938 while it is a 1937 PV 51 Cabriolet. OK, no everyday car, but we have seen stranger cars at these pages. (photo Lars Göran Lindgren). EARLIER TEXT: Somewhat more modern stuff this time. A nice solid big convertible sedan. What's the make? What's the year? What's the type? What more interesting is to say about this one? Only the best answer will win the infamous PreWarCar T-shirt. Please send your answer before Sunday 26-1-2003 23.59 hrs to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . And please, please add # 49 in the subject line.
