What is it? # 53 (UPDATE)

UPDATE: with just 0,37 Litres (!) probably the smallest Bugatti engine ever built. The T 68 has 16 valves, two overhead cams and a compressor and was meant for ulta low gas consumption due to gas shortage of during WW II in France. The engine was on display during the 2003 Retromobile. Winner is again last week's Mike 'Serpollet' Clark. Congratulations! See you all next Saturday.
(photo by editor) EARLIER TEXT: After the steam adventure of last week, back to the real gas guzzling thing. However, it has only four barrels. And there is something about it that should give you teeny weeny warnings. Probably is the first thing that comes to mind is quite wrong. Unless you just know this lean, mean machine.
