What is it? (6) UPDATE by Terry Boyce.

'Your mystery photo is a 1937 LaSalle. The side mount covers are definitely 1937 Cadillac or LaSalle and the taillights are Cadillac or LaSalle (Buick lights were considerably smaller). The trailing edges of the louver trim on the hood sides indicates the car is a LaSalle.(photo collection editor) First in good answer was by David Evans.
The Cadillac Series 37-60 Convertible sedan was a 124-inch wheelbase. The LaSalle was on the same wheelbase. 1938 models, while similar, had smooth-sided sidemount covers. The 1937-38 Buick Series 40 Special and Series 60 Century phaetons used the same body (as did Pontiac). Earlier article: Sorry for the poor quality photo. What we like about it that it's a photo when cars like these were just old bangers and no overrated concours winners. As usual you can click the photo to enlarge the photo. The closest guess, that's in before Monday 4 March 23.59 hrs. Central European Time will win the infamous PreWarCar T-shirt.
