What is it? # 83 (UPDATE: Sal Sagev, Las Vegas)

UPDATE: Everybody was right about Las Vegas. Some even found Fremont street. Not everybody was right about the name of the hotel: Sal Sagev which is a backward lettering of Las Vegas what was the first name of the hotel before it was changed in 1931 (Oops! -thanks Kit- editor's typo: first name was Hotel Nevada). Winner Jan Gauffin of Sweden (congratulations!) had it all right and added that the name was changed "due to the fact that gambling was legalized again... Today the name of the hotel at the same site is Golden Gate Hotel & Casino."(Kit: since 1955)

(postcard collection Hans Horwitz) EARLIER TEXT: It is the Overland hotel at a quiet suburbian location. Or...? We are afraid the same location isn't that quiet any more nowadays. With a little webresearch we found out a lot of hard work we found that the hotel in the foreground still exists. The name is unreadable, but that at the same time that is the key to this # 82. Mind our words, anyone can win this one. Guess, try and above all think! ;-) Please send your guesses about this 1940 location 1.
