What is it? # 85 (UPDATE: 1925 Itala )

UPDATE: We had an extremely high response from Scandinavia this time. And that with an Italian car! Not so surprisingly when you read what earlier winner Kjetil Langsaether writes:"The photo was taken in July 1959 by Jan Tolfsby in Skoger in Norway. Jan Tolfsby is one of the pioneer veteran enthusiast in Norway. Has saved 100 + cars, but only kept a few of them. Tor Wollebæk at the left hand side of the car, and the owner at that time Bjørn Petter Gjerdrum at the steering wheel." Kjetil was also very close -closest- to the right answer which will not suprise you. According to the information of the current owner Bue Bavid-Andersen it is a 1925 Itala 51B ss with 2,8 Ltr. 17/45 HP sidevalve engine. The 4 seater/ 3 door coachwork is by Alessio. (photo collection Bue David Andersen) It is the summer of '59. Two youngster with a high class banger: made in Italy. This make had several prewar GP victoeries. So far the hints, except for one: we did not make any effort to take out the radiator logo. So first check the enlargement before you start to fill in the blanks... ; -) : 1. The Marque 2. The Type 3. The Year and maybe 4. (very nasty) The Coachbuilder. Send your answer before(!) Monday 27 October to \n This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
