Seldomly seen nowadays
Today we spotted this very original looking 1970 Ford Capri GT. Some may say it's the poor man's Mustang, but we like it very much!

PAL Club meet on April 15, 2012

PAL Club meet on April 15, 2012

A total of twenty-four PAL members travel to Aprile’s European Restaurant in North Chelmsford, MA to meet Pat & Warren for a good time and some great food, while renewing friendships after a long winter of hibernation.

Earlier that morning fifteen members met at the Black Forest Restaurant on Route 101 in Amherst, New Hampshire for coffee and some great pastries. Around 11:15 am this New Hampshire group started their drive through the country side to Aprile’s European Restaurant. Maps were provided by Warren and he advised drivers not to use their GPSs, as they would have spent their whole drive time recalculating.  It was a beautiful warm spring day, prompting many members to go topless (cars that is). Although still too early in the season for the trees to have leaves, all the flowering trees and bushes were in full bloom, making for very enjoyable drive while taking in all the beautiful scenery along the way.

After our meal the group split up heading their separate ways back home. A few choose to follow Warren once again for more back roads and country scenery. During one stop, someone demanded Warren add an Ice Cream stop. With the PAL club, Ice Cream stops are a long standing tradition on all tours and so it came to pass that this group soon stopped for ice cream. A perfect way to end a perfect day!

Queens birthday is Old Cars day as well.

Queens birthday
On the 30th of April its the day the Queens birthday is celebrated in Holland. Its usually also the day that most collectors cars get their first seasons outing too. Virtually all towns change into a colourfull display of national flags and people dressing up in orange with all sorts of festivities and markets to celebrate.  Good reason to join in one of the many oldtimer parades !
