1960 Chrysler 300F Special Gran Turismo

Chrysler briefly promoted, then retracted the offering of this limited production sports special version of the 300F Letter Car in 1960.  The package included a 400HP short ram engine with headers and special cam, and the Pont-a-Mousson full synchro 4 speed manual transmission.  The cars were capable of 145 mph on Daytona's sand and 160 mph on Chrysler's high banked test track.  It is believed eight hardtops and one convertible were constructed.  I have owned this example since 1992.
