DKW F91 Karmann Kabriolett 1954

In this fourseater convertible type F91 very rare indeed. Produced in small numbers at Karmann factory in Osnabruck - Germany. Found in 2009 in Portugal in good condition. Was stored with 300 other classic cars in a building in the countryside one hour driving from Lissabon. The last owner welded the door shut in the late 80's to keep the thiefs out.
First owner of this particular DKW was a diplomat of German Embassy downtown Lissabon he kept the car more than 30 years. 98500 original kilometers in 55 years. Not restored only new paint, new leather and new canvas hood. Is rather quick with three cylinder watercooled twostroke engine of a 1000cc and 50hp. At this moment in Holland and after rebuilding the engine and brakes the car  can now travel everywhere. So if you see me on some road in Europe please wave :-)
