 As always, racing to find the nice little streets for the Via Flaminia Rally. As always behind the schedule which I have set myself.

Finally on the high planes of the Gran Sasso Mountains range the roads are straight and I can get all the power from my rental car. What is that on the horizon I want to get by?

Fresh snow has fallen, the vegetation at this altitude is meagre but something is blocking the road, no, not cows or wild horses, two Pagani Zonda’s.

Mr Pagani is having a photo shoot taken in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy.

I have the chance to experience what the V12 from Mercedes does to some 1100 kg. Almost as astonishing as the braking.
