Post-War Cars for Sale by dealer Dick Shappy Classic Cars For over thirthy years, Dick Shappy, a true hobbyist from Warwick, Rhode Island, has been collecting and restoring antique and classic automobiles. Doing its utmost best to achieve perfection in his restorations, in 2010 Mr. Shappy has earned among others, the ‘Best of the Best’ award at Autos of the World show and the ‘Best Brass Era Car’ award at the Newport Concours d’Élegance’. However, classic cars isn’t the only vehicle Dick Shappy is fond of. Also motorcycles, especially from the makes ranging from 1910 to 1918 appeal to him. He especially is fond of the Flying Merkel motorcycle. As it seemed to be very difficult to find parts for this classic motorcycle, he is now reproducing them himself for personal purposes and for his clients.
