Post-War Cars for Sale by dealer Steutel For over the last 25 years, Jan Steutel has been running his small garage, ‘Garage Steutel’, on nothing but passion. At the age of 13, his father gave him his first car, an old Fiat Topolina in need of ‘some work’. After he passed his driver’s license at the age of 18, he proudly drove his first full restoration, a Giulietta Spider. During the years, he had been developing a passion for mechanics and a love for Italian cars. The result was that, after gaining experience at an Alfa Romeo dealership, in 1981 he started his own business in a facility that dated back to 1920. From this facility at Almkerk, Jan Sleutel buys, restores and sells classic cars. As several (Italian) car parts got very hard to find though, he decided to make the first of many trips to Italy. First, to come back with car parts such as Borrani Whire Wheels, later with entire car collections! Garage Steutel has always been small and will stay small, this way Jan Steutel can do best what he loves: working on beautiful cars!
