How about this fabulous project. A
1954 Maserati A6GCS Berlinetta. Brainchild of Martin Heukeshoven, correct not an italian chiefdesigner of back then, but an artist pur sang. He does not restore cars. He restores fantasies and dreams. We have followed him now for many years and recently he surprised us with the scratchbuilt Maserati. Keep in mind that the car is created completely from front
to rearend from debris and pieces of our consumer behaviour. Found in the street and at industrial scrapheaps. Martin's twisted mind knows the shapes and parts he is looking for. His imagination and perseverance plus his eclectic scrap collection help to locate the parts and parts of parts of very much not automotive machinery. I takes about 6 months full time to create an unrestored car like this; detailed down to
rusty crusty rear suspension. But my, is this a Maser! (photos with Samsung Galaxy SII by editor ; check
