The Magazine

During the 8th Grand Prix de Monaco Historique, next month on May 11-12, three auction houses are trying to catch the buying public's eye with some wonderful automobiles. We will surely cover them at a later date, but there's one car that -in our view- stands out from the crowd: the 1950 Talbot-Lago T26 Grand Sport offered by RM during its biennial sale at the Grimaldi Forum. With only three owners from new, this magnificent racing car comes with a totally known racing history going back to the
1951 24 Hours of Le Mans where it was co-driven by Juan-Manuel Fangio and Louis Rosier. From then on the Talbot-Lago has been entered in many other races,
up to the present day. We could easily fill lots of pages with its full history, but why not check it out for yourself. The story starts on
page 114 of RM's digital catalogue. Let's keep dreaming!
