The Magazine

It looks like it’s from outer space and that’s just the reason it never went into production. Yet this prototype has a true pedigree as its designer worked for a manufacturer of sports cars of which the name was made up of the last names of the two owners. The design featured three seats, a central one for the driver and two in the back for the passengers. It was propelled by an air-cooled Corvair engine. After this prototype was rejected, its designer reworked it into another model and that became a stunning production car! Do tell us the name of the designer; the company he worked for and perhaps even the name of this prototype.
