Tucker: The Two Million Dollar Four Door Sedan.

tucker-barret-record-1
With this Tucker realizing a cool 2.915.000 dollars (2.256.000 euro or 1.877.00 pounds) during the Barrett-Jackson auction at Scottsdale, these automobiles have surely reached a permanent cult status. Designed by Preston Tucker, only 51 cars were built until the company folded and today not more than 49 survive, so they are rare birds. The previous record for a Tucker stood at $1,127,500, but this 1948 model seems to be a much better example, being completely restored. What will we see next? A million dollar 2CV?
