This is my 1963 Rover Drophead living happily in the sunny climes of Sydney, Australia. Pictures show it beside the famous Harbour Bridge and Opera House - icons known around the world.
The model of this car was made by Crossways Models in the UK from many pictures I supplied.
This is the only Drophead version of this model made in the UK and has been maintained in pristine condition. The leather is the original and has been restored with leather oils to maintain its suppleness. A lovely vehicle to be the custodian of!

I found this very rare 1954 Auto Union Typ 91 Karmann Kabriolett through a article in a german classic car magazine, that was spring 2009. Soon I made contact with the owner, who turned out to be a portugese car-nut with 300 beautiful classics sitting in several building in and around Lissabon. This DKW was in good shape but engine and brakes had to be reconditioned, which I did after buying it on the spot. The car arrived a few weeks later on a truck and I started working on it. I bought a new engine in Germany and replaced all brake- and mastercylinders, that were still original but all seized. Early 2010 I finished replacing and restoring and after greasing-up the chassis me and my green friend were ready to hit the road again. After 25 years of standing around in basements, the car is now out and into the spring sunshine again. The only thing I added to the interior is a St. Christophel badge for good luck and a very cute BOSCH central placed antenna with a GRUNDIG radio. If you see me drive on some road in Europe, please wave :-)

In this fourseater convertible type F91 very rare indeed. Produced in small numbers at Karmann factory in Osnabruck - Germany. Found in 2009 in Portugal in good condition. Was stored with 300 other classic cars in a building in the countryside one hour driving from Lissabon. The last owner welded the door shut in the late 80's to keep the thiefs out. First owner of this particular DKW was a diplomat of German Embassy downtown Lissabon he kept the car more than 30 years. 98500 original kilometers in 55 years. Not restored only new paint, new leather and new canvas hood. Is rather quick with three cylinder watercooled twostroke engine of a 1000cc and 50hp. At this moment in Holland and after rebuilding the engine and brakes the car can now travel everywhere. So if you see me on some road in Europe please wave :-)

Chrysler briefly promoted, then retracted the offering of this limited production sports special version of the 300F Letter Car in 1960. The package included a 400HP short ram engine with headers and special cam, and the Pont-a-Mousson full synchro 4 speed manual transmission. The cars were capable of 145 mph on Daytona's sand and 160 mph on Chrysler's high banked test track. It is believed eight hardtops and one convertible were constructed. I have owned this example since 1992.

I was given this 1954 Light 15 in 2005 after having resurrected the owner's 1948 Light 15 but there was a slight catch. It was in a barn in Quebec, up on the second floor since 1976 after having been imported from Botswana. The ramp had rotted away leaving the car isolated. She said, "If you can get the car out of the barn, it's yours." Mice made it home, the paint was falling off, but there was no rust at all. I had a bridge built, the car hauled out and five years later, this is what it looks like. Recent paint, new chrome, new leather, all mechanicals rebuilt. What's not to like?

For five consecutive years Fiat Auto Nederland did provide a Lancia to the Via Flaminia Rally in Italy. This year it is the turn to Turino to provide one Lancia Delta to each edition of the Via Flaminia. A fine and distinguished car indeed.
editor JB: dear Bart, fine new Delta, but where's the classic? Now don't come up with the cliché story that any Lancia is a classic in the brochure... So next time an old car again please. And that aside we also hope to hear what is the exact type. Do we have a Diesel here?

my second Jaguar, a 1965 S type, 3.8 liter, 9:1 compression. Numbers -matching car, unrestored, totally intact. It actually spits flames through the muffler tips! I bought it in San Francisco California, drove it 2,900 miles to my home in Nashville Tennessee without any problem except a flat tire in Texas. I love this car, as much or better than my 1984 Jaguar XJ-6. The S type is a lot more fun to drive, the XK engine is more aggressive than the 4.2 liter engine of the XJ. I live in Florida now.

As always, racing to find the nice little streets for the Via Flaminia Rally. As always behind the schedule which I have set myself. Finally on the high planes of the Gran Sasso Mountains range the roads are straight and I can get all the power from my rental car. What is that on the horizon I want to get by? Fresh snow has fallen, the vegetation at this altitude is meagre but something is blocking the road, no, not cows or wild horses, two Pagani Zonda’s. Mr Pagani is having a photo shoot taken in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. I have the chance to experience what the V12 from Mercedes does to some 1100 kg. Almost as astonishing as the braking. Some times you are not in a hurry.

Joop terpstra writes; "I found this car one year ago in a enormous warehouse in downtown Lissabon-Portugal where a collector has around 300 classic cars: "This particular DKW's are very rare in convertible form, built by hand at Karmann in Osnabruck/Germany in 1953-1954. Sadly only a few survived worldwide. After recieving it from Portugal by truck I picked it up in Rotterdam where it stood in storage with a flat tyre, empty battery and a broken engine. Now I have repaired all these problems and it is ready for summer 2010. Twostroke 1000cc watercooled engine with some 50 hp and a topspeed of 135 kmh. Frontwheel drive and fourspeed columnshift. Check this car out at YouTube ."

My 1959 MGA has been my pride and joy (ah well, not always) for some forty years . Here you see it when bought it in 1970, when it still had the 'real cardboard' fenders, that a p.o. manufactured (botched is a better word). Needless to say the MGA looks much better nowadays! Rutger Booy

Current owner, Nico Dreesen, Maarheeze, The Netherlands. I purchased this car in April 1997. Then he was not dying away in that time, he was already dead! So I restored him (total body off restoration) during ± 5 years,(5 years of my own life!!) and now he is in an excellent condition.
