I listed our Morgan Three wheeler 1937 on the www.MorganForum.com in July. This web site is where we actually sold the car. Then found your web site Prewar. We had this buyer interested before your web site, but we needed to investigate his honesty. Then we got to looking for a site that might get the attention of more people in the US. That was your web site. I must say the car could have gone anywhere at this point.

But the buyer from Denmark checked out just fine. And the car is on its way to its new home.

Most came with the first few days of the car appearing on the website, it is hard to say whether they were genuine or not, in the end I sold the car to one of the first people who enquired.

I got quite a few responses to my ad for a '36 Ford Pickup Truck and sold it in about a month. A man in Ontario, Canada was the first one who was interested. He needed to sell a trailer to raise the funds. In the meantime, I sold it to a man in Capitola, California.

We had about 30 responses from USA, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, France and UK. Most of the people said, initially, that they definitely wanted the car but when asked to make a phone call to the Principal did not proceed even that far. Money talks, bullshit walks. I would say that the car was about 10 per cent overpriced and that might have had something to do with it. I don't know what the market has been like in recent months though, I imagine, our timing was good - prior to summer.
