Hi, enclosed you will find an earlier version of the telecontrol shocks. these are not hydraulic, they have some type of piston between the friction pads and are controlled from the dashboard with a bowdencable. I'm looking sonce a long time for such shocks for my race project, but have never had a chance to buy these. I'm thinking they are originaly fitted on Hispano suiza cars. Kind regards, Wilfried brunner |

This photo is amongst my family archives, taken around 1921-23. My Grandfather and my Father are in the car. Does anyone know what the make & model of the car is? Is there any historical information on Parkers Mauve Cars from Ilfracombe in Devon? Any information would be most gratefully received. David Bate. 28th January 2012 D M BATE. This is a 1922 G.N. Akela Race Car. It was the spare car for G.N. in the 1922 Brooklands 200 mile race. I purchased it from the sale of the Stafford-East cars at the Beaulieu in September 2008. The first three images were taken as purchased. It has been a lengthy rebuild and a very thorough one. The last four images were taken after three years of rebuilding. It now has the Castrol R flowing and is very close to being 'fired up'. It is overhead camshaft with four valves and two spark plugs per cylinder, two magnetos and two carbs. It has four forward speeds and no reverse. I am hoping to run it in Hillclimbs and sprints this season. Although 90 years old we are expecting a good turn of speed. |

This is my beloved Model A. Her name is Lady Rose and she moves to the streets in the Bernese Oberland. The condition is original and very good. This car is more fun than any I've ridden so far. And everyone who sees it has a smile on his face. |

Sir, I am rebuilding a 1928 Peugeot 172 M Normandy Cart and wonder if any reader has knowledge of how to remove the rear brake drums - I assume that as they are well on and will not move at all with light persuasion after removing the castle nut on the half shaft that I will have use a puller on the wheel studs with the push on the end of the half shaft but before I try and do irreparable damage I would be pleased to hear from a reader who has first hand knowledge Regards nightynight

Every first Sunday in July (this year on July 3rd) there is " Historisch Vervoer" a car festival in the Dutch city of Millingen. As a logo they use this Panhard, but have no clue as to where this drawing comes from nor do they know the exact model of this Panhard. Can you help?
