A circa WW I car cant identify

Hi - a friend of our family has given me this photo to try and research what car this is...it belonged to his grandfather and is perhaps pre-WW I .

Can anyone assist?  Michael

editor: looks like we have a very nice big Renault here. Let's leave it to the experts to say if it's a 40 HP or ....?

The car is a 1911 Model H 7 Passenger Touring. 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 6.

It looks to be a Franklin, absence of radiator, Franklin where air cooled and the typical opening in the front of the bonnet for better air flow gives it away.

I think that this car is an air-cooled Franklin Model D (Around 1912). See the front "grille" for the air that never had the Renaults
