I am researching the back ground to the RedeX product prior to 1940. Ideally I would like to know who made the RedeX instrument which were on sale in the late 30's; was RedeX made on the premises of Wayne V Myers in London SE1 and finally, how did the Wayne V Myers distribute RedeX thro'out the UK because, according to an ad. published 'Practical Motorist' in July 1939 RedeX had 12000 outlets?

Thank you, Roger Brown

Rolls Royce"Can anyone one give me information about this item?"

Alex sends these piucs of an 'item' which seems to be related to RR in some way. When you send in a question it is in your advantage if you try to be complete. Tell all you know about the 'item'. Size, material, where you found it. And what you think it may be or what other may have told you about it.

My great grandparents continental touring ca

An avid follower of our site - Chris CB - is looking for the collective thoughts on this photo.  His great grandparents were in the continent. their driver at the wheel and his grandmother the dapper young lass aboard.
He thinks it is a Sunbeam, given the Rotax lamps but he is not sure.

GAUMONT PARIS DASHBOARD SWITCH.
Pictured is a GAUMONT PARIS dashboard switch. I would like to obtain information on it's operation and features.
Top centre is an amber window behind which sits a festoon globe. I belive this has something to do with ignition, but don't know when it should show light and when the light should be off.
Below is a small knob with pointer that can be turned to the letter O or F.
Central on either side are brass caps under which I think may be fuses.
Centre below that is a 4 - position knob for lights.
And in the base are two apertures for connection of a lead for a trouble light or some other accessory.

Any further information on operation or wiring would be appreciatred.
