Show a pre-war mystery

Unidentified Car - location probably South Africa

Unidentified Car - location probably South AfricaThe attached picture came with a group of photographs of a man who died in South Africa in 1902. He emigrated from England and would have been 45 when he died. I know nothing about cars and am trying to date the photograph which I suspect does not include my man.

Any suggestions on the make and model of the vehicle would be appreciated.

It´s a 1928 Dodge model "Victory Six" phaeton
