The Willocq Bottin 'Anexhip' mystery... ( UPDATE: about Bte. SGDG)

The Willocq Bottin 'Anexhip' mystery... ( UPDATE: about Bte. SGDG)

In view of the night rally preparation of the editor's Fiat 514, Bas de Voogd surprised us with a very nice Willocq Bottin 'Anexhip'. (the pictured Anexhip badge is soldered inside the lamp housing and is marked with 'Licence Gallois', subscript 'Ste.SCDC' and numbered #5852. The headlight is crowned with a WB logo that strongly reminds of ???. Anexhip is a type of light with a split mirror system combined with a Philips bulb with a partially blacked out top half. We are not sure what the exact purpose of the Anexhip system is and if the system was patented? Do you? Mail Us
UPDATE by Jean-Frederic Frot:"I think that the engraving says Bte SGDG which stands for Breveté Sans Garantie du Gouvernement: Patented without guarantee from the governement. A common statement on goods manufactured in France. Other than that the light would have been made by BW from a licence conceeded by Gallois."
