About quiz 242: 1932 Skoda 645 Hearse

Almost all responses we received named our quiz car correct as a Skoda type 645. But only five mentioned the right year (1932) and of those even three (Ingo Jost; Fredi Vollenweider and Joćo Pedro Gazineu) knew where we had taken the photo. That made it difficult for us to choose the winner, but in the end we decided it should be 18 year old Joćo Pedro from Brazil because he could exactly pinpoint the location of the Skoda: “It is a 1932 Skoda 645 Hearse. It has 6 cylinders and 45hp. A company dating from 1895 Laurin & Klement made cars, bikes and motorcycles. Car production began in 1905. In 1925 the company was bought by the Skoda Works and began to produce cars under the Skoda name. This car was shown in the 2008 Techno Classica Essen very close to the PreWarCar stand!” Congratulations Joćo Pedro with your second win! The T-shirt will be on its way to Brazil soon. (The next Techno Classica will be held from April 1-5. Do come and visit the PreWarCar stand!)
