Like a number of manufacturers including Karl Benz, August Horch and R.E. Olds, Corre left the firm which he had founded successfully (Corre-La Licorne) and began to make cars under the name Corre, Le Cor or J.C. They were small 4-cylinder machines, not unlike the Licornes which were being made at the same time, although the range was smaller, and they tended to have shorter stroke engines. The Corre cars were made in 8, 10 and 12hp sizes.
