The Hansa Lloyd make succeeded the Lloyd after the amalgamation with Hansa in 1914, Hansa continued to build private cars under its own name, while Hansa Lloyd cars specialized in commercial vehicles – but also produced two luxury cars. These were the Hansa Lloyd Treff As, with a 4-cylinder 4.056cc engine producing 60bhp, and the Hansa Lloyd Trumpf As with 8-cylinder, 100bhp power units of 4.640cc or 5.220cc capacity. Hansa Lloyd was taken over by Borgward-Goliath in 1929 and production of private cars ceased altogether, although commcercials were continued.
