Reading Standard was an American motorcycle manufacturer that was established in 1903. The company's name stemmed from Reading, Pennsylvania, where the factory was located, and Standard, which was meant to imply that the company's products lived up to industry standards. Reading Standard built a wide range of motorcycles during its lifespan, which lasted until 1924, when the company was dissolved.
