Ford Model T Camshaft Timing Gears

FM Oldtimer offers specially manufactured camshaft timing gears for the Ford Model T. The gears are available in three different sizes to ensure correct gear matching and backlash:

Standard / +0.003" / +0.005"

The materials used provide high wear resistance, long service life and quiet operation, making these gears a high-quality alternative to aluminium timing gears.

The aluminium timing gear shown in the pictures was used in a Ford Model T and already shows significant tooth wear after only approximately 500 km (310 miles). Based on this experience, we had a more durable solution manufactured specifically for the Ford Model T.
