Due to its sportive looks the 370 S Mannheim was soon regarded as the “little brother†of the famous Mercedes SS. Even the works racing driver Rudolf Caracciola owned a 370 S Mannheim for private purposes. The history of this car is well documented. In 2004/2006 it was professionally restored to a very high standard.
The car is featured in the Michael Ellman-Brown book "Bentley - The Silent
Sports Car" on Page 105. It is a nice driving car with some patina and
will need slight attention concerning the body.
This practical Lancia Artena was developed on demand of 'Il Duce' to transport people and goods. Based on the Astura chassis but powered by a modest 4 cylinder in line 2,0 l engine.
