Mystery gearbox made under the original Renault Freres patent of 9 February 1899.Manufactured under licence, numbered 66963.
I've only seen one other similar gearbox advertised on the pages of PreWarCar.
Some features are similar to Delaunay-Belleville, however, no manufacturer's plate is attached.
Mis..
Used Gearbox Mercedes-Benz 170 V Prewar.Suitable for restoring or for parts.Including the clutch release bearing.Unfortunately with a crack in the bell housing. No shipping, pick up in Beaulieu or Veterama possible.More photos on demand.
We need three flame traps (the little trumpets with gauze in them that go on the carburettor intakes) for our Speed Twenty engine. If you have any at all I'd love to hear from you!
The gearbox
is in good original working condition. I bought the gearbox may years back, as
spare for my Horch 930V from 1938, 3,5 liter V8. It is possible to add an
overdrive, standard on later models.
